The students did most of the work in August. Student artists, featured on the signature panels, are: Laci Curvey, Fremely Paredes Torres, Yamilé Nader, Dylan Riofrio-Pine, Tatiana Hernandez, Anni Encarnacion, and Felicia Cera. Here at HIP, we are so proud and excited to showcase this incredible piece of work that was created by so many. So you know, this is our 4th large mural project at the HIP Center painted by current and former academy students.

Students from the Hazleton Arts & Humanities Academy studios and the academy mural club, and teacher program director, Ann Vath Flowers, had so much fun painting a large locker mural here in our center. They created a colorful, stylized, semi-abstract design that features doves for peace & acceptance, reading and science for knowledge while also capturing the energy of our center!
