If you feel the need to give back to your community, we can always use an extra set of hands! Fill out the volunteer sign-up form or get in contact with our office to get started.
-
Work-Study
HIP has a partnership with Luzerne County Community College, where we receive college students looking for work-study opportunities. We are always looking for help.
-
Education
HIP is always looking for more assistance with education for both children and adults! HIP offers a variety of classes that could use your help, such as ESL and Spanish classes, GED classes, and computer skills classes.
-
Mature Worker Program
The Mature Worker Program/Senior Community Service Employment Program offers the opportunity to residents of Luzerne and Wyoming Counties that are 55 years old or older to join the workforce once again. This agency assigns individuals to different organizations.
-
Reemployment
Here at HIP we are thankful for all the help we receive. We will find the suitable task for whatever need. Just contact us, and let us know what the employee that is being relocated for that period of time will need.
-
Mandated Service
Whether it’s court mandated hours, school requirements, or other needed hours of community service, HIP is willing to work with you and your schedule and can also help with any necessary paperwork.
