Pathways to Success

The Luzerne County Community College Foundation received a donation to establish the Pathways to Success Scholarship with Hazleton Integration Project. The scholarship was established to benefit a student who has financial need and will be the first in their family to attend college. The student recipient can receive a total of 6 college credits at no cost as a result of this scholarship. First preference to receive the scholarship will be given to a student residing in the Hazleton Area. The scholarship was established through a donation made by Anna Mary McHugh, a former LCCC faculty member. Scholarship opportunity will be awarded to a High School senior student that has participated and grown through the Hazleton Integration Project’s (HIP) programs.

Hector L. Padilla Memorial Scholarship

The Hector L. Padilla Memorial Scholarship was established by the Hazleton Integration Project in 2021 to continue the legacy of their former student Hector Padilla who died tragically. The annual scholarship is awarded to a senior high school student that has participated and grown through the Hazleton Integration Project’s (HIP) programs.

Contributions to this Scholarship can be made:

  • Checks: made payable to Hazleton Integration Project write “Padilla Memorial Scholarship” in the memo (mail to: HIP, 225 E. 4th St. Hazleton, PA 18201)
