#HIP, collaborated again this year with the Pennsylvania State Troopers, Walmart and Mark Imbriaco and family for the “Shop with a Cop event”. Where they provided children and families in need with extra joy and cheer with gifts bought by their own children. Walmart, has a special program, grant that allows our organization and the local State Troopers barracks to collaborate for the Holiday season.

This program gives a child a budget where they go into Walmart with an officer and buy gifts for their family using the budget given. After the gifts are bought children go back to the center and wrap the gifts with the officer who helped them buy a gift.

For this round we had a little more than 40 children, who were not older than 13 years old and not younger than 1 year old. Each child had a little over 100 dollars to spend for their families and themselves.
