STEM with us!

In partnership with Penn State, the #Science2020 Project, recently hosted their first "STEM with Us" program. Families brought their children grades K to 2 to learn the fundamentals of engineering and numeracy through a series of three fun hands-on workshops. Participants enacted an engineering design process including planning, designing, and revising to build towers and bridges, experiment with shapes and develop own slime recipes! Families came together to build important numeracy skills and made memories they won’t soon forget. Thank you to the families and community educators who made the program a success!
